The $100 Piece Of Paper
Yesterday I bought a $100 piece of paper. I bought it from James Brausch. On this piece of paper are the download page URL’s of most of James’ Internet business products, including a couple that have been discontinued and can no longer be purchased except through special offers like this: The Boca Conversations software bundle.
There’s only a couple of hours left to pick up this discounted package (over $1000 worth of products for $100). And I would have told you about it sooner, except that I don’t like to recommend stuff to you until I’ve had a chance to look it over myself.
I somehow got the idea that after making my payment through PayPal, I would be directed to a download page with links to the various products. And when I didn’t, I thought it prudent to find out what’s going on before sending you over to James’ site.
Well, I got my answer just minutes ago. Even though these are all downloadable information products and software, James is sending a physical piece of paper to each customer of the Boca Conversations package by snail mail.
One has got to question the logic behind this move. Assigning a number of his staff over the next couple of days to stuff and mail envelopes??? An email or redirect to a download page would have been much more efficient. But I’ve learned over the last year or so that James never does anything without a reason.
I’m looking forward to him sharing that reason with us in his blog at some point in the future. In the meantime, I’ll be sitting by my mail box, eagerly awaiting my $100 piece of paper.
