I didn't know where to put this, but I was impressed with your article on child safety, and this was brought to my attention yesterday.

Anyone with small children around should heed this warning.

A little girl, (4 years old) put sanitizer on her hands at pre-school. A few minutes later she became lethargic, and her parents were called. (Happen to be dad actually.) She lost consciousness and was rushed to the hospital.

They ran every test in the book on her, and finally picked up that she has an EXTREMELY large amount of alcohol in her system from the hand sanitizer she'd used! She apparently was licking her fingers, due to the pleasant scent.

She could have died from this, so I'm urging of my lists, plus anyone else I can reach to take note of this. If it saves one child from possible death, (or who knows what other side effects) it's more than worth it.

I hope it's ok to put it here - I thought you might want to share it with your lists, too.

God bless,

Olaina "Guru Granny" :D
